Cookie Policy

Cookies used on the platform and website

1. What Is a Cookie?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They are used to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.

2. Cookies We Use

Three categories of cookies are used on our site:

  • Essential cookies: Required for session security (login token), language preference (psikotest_locale), and your cookie consent record (psikotest_cookie_consent). These cookies are necessary for the service to function and cannot be turned off.
  • Analytics cookies: Google Analytics cookies (e.g. _ga) help us measure how pages are used anonymously. They are active until you make a choice in the cookie notice; once you choose "Essential Only" or turn them off in settings, no cookie is written. Typically retained for up to 13 months.
  • Marketing cookies: Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp and _fbc) let us measure the effect of our advertising and show you ads again on Facebook and Instagram. These cookies are not anonymous; the resulting data is shared with Meta Platforms. They are active until you make a choice; once rejected the Pixel is stopped and existing cookies are deleted. When you arrive from a Meta ad, the click id in the address (fbclid) is stored as the _fbc cookie under the same terms. They are typically retained in your browser for about 90 days.

3. Managing Cookie Preferences

From the cookie notice shown on your first visit you can turn analytics and marketing cookies off with "Essential Only" or pick them individually under "Manage Settings". Your choice is stored in your browser and applied on every visit; cookies of a rejected category are deleted and not written again. You can also delete existing cookies or block cookies entirely in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop some features from working.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Google Analytics is used for analytics purposes and Meta Platforms' Meta Pixel and Conversions API are used for marketing purposes. These services may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies, which may involve transferring data abroad (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc., USA). For conversion events such as sign-up and payment, the IP address, browser information and _fbp/_fbc identifiers are sent to Meta from our server; e-mail, phone, name, organisation id and billing city/postal code are sent only in hashed (irreversible) form and only as long as you have not rejected marketing cookies. When you reject the category, these cookies are not written and no conversion data is sent.

5. Changes to This Policy

This Cookie Policy may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page.

You can update your cookie preferences at any time.
