Frequently Asked Questions

Psikometri is a platform for psychologists and clinics that provides remote test assignment, automatic scoring, and client management. Below are answers to the most common questions about the product, security, scales, and test delivery.

Product and Plans

What is Psikometri?

+

Psikometri is a psychometric testing and client management platform built for psychologists and clinics. It lets you assign validated psychological scales to clients remotely, score and interpret results automatically, generate PDF reports, and manage your client workflow in one place.

Can I try Psikometri for free?

+

Yes. Every organization gets a 14-day unlimited trial: unlimited clients, unlimited test assignments, and full access to every feature except workflows, escalation and webhooks. No credit card is required and nothing is charged during the trial. If you do not move to a paid plan afterwards, your data is not deleted.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

+

Yes. You can upgrade at any time as your needs grow. Your existing data is preserved and there is no interruption during the transition.

Can multiple psychologists work in the same organization?

+

Yes. Psikometri supports multiple users. You can work as a team with psychologist and assistant roles and manage each user's access separately.

Security and Data Privacy

Is my data secure?

+

Yes. Psikometri protects client data with KVKK-compliant infrastructure, SSL encryption, role-based access control, and tenant-level data isolation. Each record is accessible only to the organization it belongs to.

Do test results provide a diagnosis?

+

No. The scales on the platform are for screening and assessment; they do not provide a clinical diagnosis on their own. Results are interpreted only by a licensed professional as part of a clinical evaluation.

Scales

Which psychological scales are available?

+

Many validated scales are available out of the box, including GAD-7, burnout, the Enneagram, and the Big Five. Enterprise plans also let you create your own scales.

Where can I learn about the scales?

+

From the public scales catalog (psikometri.app/en/scales) you can see what each scale measures, how many questions it has, and how it is interpreted.

Can I create my own scale?

+

Yes. On eligible plans you can define custom scales with your own questions, options, and scoring logic and assign them to your clients.

Child and Adolescent Assessment

Which instruments are available for children?

+

The catalog covers a wide range of child and adolescent instruments. For developmental monitoring there are the 2, 3, 4 and 5 Year Developmental Checklists and the 6 Year Preschool Development and School Readiness Checklist; for the classroom, the Peer Relations and Classroom Behavior Observation Scale; for cognitive assessment, the Kent E.G.Y. verbal intelligence test, the Burdon attention test, the Benton Visual Retention Test and the Gesell Developmental Figures Test. Widely used tools such as the Ankara Developmental Screening Inventory (AGTE), the Metropolitan Readiness Test, the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test, Bender-Gestalt, the d2 Test of Attention and the Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) are also included.

What are the developmental checklists for?

+

The 2 to 6 year developmental checklists let you review a child's psychomotor, cognitive, language, social-emotional and self-care skills in a structured way. They are not administered to the child directly: a teacher or parent who observes the child regularly marks each skill at one of three levels. The purpose is not to diagnose but to notice early which areas need support.

How can I assess school readiness?

+

Two instruments complement each other. The 6 Year Preschool Development and School Readiness Checklist assesses a child of 72 months or older across psychomotor, cognitive-language, social-emotional and self-care domains through 92 items, based on teacher or parent observation. The Metropolitan Readiness Test is a performance test made up of subtests and administered to the child directly by a professional. A decision about starting school should never rest on one instrument alone; it belongs alongside observation and developmental history.

Are the level ranges in the developmental checklists norm tables?

+

No, and we say so plainly. The level ranges in these checklists are not drawn from a standardization study; they are derived by proportionally dividing the total score. They are an internal monitoring indicator, not a standardized norm comparison. Assessing developmental delay requires a normed inventory and clinical evaluation.

Can I use professionally administered, face-to-face tests on the platform?

+

Yes. Instruments such as Kent E.G.Y., Burdon, Benton, Gesell and Metropolitan are administered individually to the child by a professional. Administration happens face to face; the professional enters the observations and scores into the platform, and scoring and reporting then run automatically. Checklists based on parent or teacher observation can instead be completed remotely through a link.

Do you publish the items and stimulus cards of copyrighted tests?

+

No. For tests whose material is copyrighted or licensed, the real items, stimulus cards, target stimulus lists and norm conversion tables are never published on any public page. The public catalog pages are informational only: they explain what a test measures and how it is interpreted. That boundary is checked by an automated copyright test before every release. Obtaining the licensed material and holding the right to use it remains the responsibility of the practising institution.

Test Delivery and Reporting

How do I administer tests to my clients?

+

When you assign a test, a unique, client-specific link is generated. You share it via email, SMS, WhatsApp, or QR code; the client completes the test on their own device. Unfinished tests can be resumed.

Can I customize reports?

+

Yes. With professional report templates you can generate a PDF in one click, adapt templates to your clinic's needs, and add your organization's logo.

Are results scored automatically?

+

Yes. When the client completes the test, results are scored automatically, the relevant severity band or profile is computed, and they are made ready for professional review.
