How is the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test (PPVT) scored and interpreted?
Each correct answer scores 1 point; the raw score obtained with the basal–ceiling rule is converted to a receptive language age using the child's chronological age and norm tables. The raw score alone is not a diagnostic indicator.
